Mark Willcox, president and founder of Data Helper, has been in the Information
Systems business since 1977.
Mark's customers range from one-person businesses to
Fortune 100 companies to Federal agencies.
Mark has filled many roles in software development over the years, including
analysis and design, coding (in more than a dozen languages), testing,
documentation, maintenance, and project management. He has found that his most
prominent skill is in opening up "uncharted territory", moving into new technologies,
analyzing tools and requirements, and coming up with simple, manageable, and
affordable solutions.
"I find the greatest satisfaction on small to medium projects where I can bring more
of my skills to bear on the problem. There is always something new to learn.
When I work directly with the people who will use the product, I can almost guarantee
success. And the smile on my customers' faces when they see the result of our work
is the greatest reward I can imagine."
